Dr Paul Gerhardt works with broadcasters, film and TV collections, museums and archives in the UK and internationally. Through his consultancy, Archives for Creativity, he provides strategic development, editorial and technical advice to support public access to moving image and sound archives.
Archives for Creativity has worked with Nesta, the BBC, Arts Council England, the BFI, the Higher Education agency JISC, the rights agency DACS, the artists' film distributor LUX and Smoking Dogs Films. Paul Gerhardt's career includes the WEA, the International Broadcasting Trust and Thames Television. He was the BBC Controller of Learning, Head of BBC/Open University production and Director of the BBC Creative Archive Project.
